Place yourself among those who carry on their lives with passion, and true learning will take place, no matter how humble or exalted the setting. But no matter what path you follow, do not be ashamed of your learning. In some corner of your life, you know more about something than anyone else on earth. The true measure of your education is not what you know, but how you share what you know with others.
We teach at DPS that truth, honesty, frankness and sincerity form the foundation of education; that opportunities are endless, but the goal is one; striving for excellence.
DPS has been an ideal foundation, a moquette confederation of the sine qua non edification and expertise. It produces denizen of the future. The school from its very inception has had a clear vision that is based on the bedrock of discipline and indoctrination. Our primary aim is to encourage each student to be a self-confident, inquiring, tolerant, positive human, a well-rounded character with an independent mind, an individual who respects the differences of others. It has always been our venture to fulfill this insusceptible time with maximum input of work. The solid foundation is also laid along with punctuality and discipline. We aim at a harmonious growth of the physical, the mental, the intellectual and the spiritual dimension for all round development of personality. By the time s/he leaves the school, we want each student to have that true sense of self-worth which will enable him to stand up for her/himself and for a purpose greater than her/himself, and, in doing so, to be of value to society. Every aspect of a child personality has to be developed along with the pursuit of academic knowledge so that our students are endorsed with a strong foundation in ethical and moral deportment. The aim is to bring about qualitative change in the lives of the students who will form the backbone of the society and raise the nation to a glorious zenith.

Pro Vice Chairman's Message
One of the most important components of a good school is the partnership between the school and parents who work together for the best
interest of the children. The close partnership between home and school is one of the exceptional strengths at Delhi Public School, Dimapur.
I extend my sincere gratitude to the parents contributing proactively towards ensuring all-round development of the school.
Delhi Public School - Dimapur supports a wide array of academics, athletic and social opportunities for students. The school
endeavors to challenge and motivate each student to achieve his or her full potentials of a responsible member of our diverse
community in a safe learning environment that promotes intellectual growth, health, creativity and respect for self and others.
We are proud of the accomplishment of our school and are excited to share our pride in the upcoming years. I would like to emphasize here
on the importance of providing routines at home. The routine of a daily quiet time provides an opportunity to develop self-discipline,
stimulate imagination and enhance reading test. Routines can also make completing chores easier for both children and parents. In this way ,
the children soon begin to develop a responsibility for their commitment and contribution to the family.
As families establish routines for the new scholastic year, it helps to remind oneself that childhood is a special time of learning.
Exploration and growth. Children need to be provided free time to explore their world and experience the joy of discovery.
I invite each parent to provide adequate time for our children to be good children. The realities of the adult world will be there all too soon.
As children grow and learn they find joy and satisfaction in working closely with their families towards a common goal. Such is the case with the
students at Delhi Public School, Dimapur. Commitment to the best for our children on the part of parents, students and staff is the key to our success
